I had an unfortunate situation where I had water damage in my basement and fire damage in my hall way. I contacted my insurance who put me in touch with CommonWealth renovations to stepped in to assist. They were prompt to take my call and understood the urgency of my emergency, they were prompt to remediate and proficient with the restoration. Their professionalism and workmanship was impeccable from the time they arrived onsite to the renovation work. They were neat and tidy and kept the dust from travelling to other parts of my house when working by using poly curtains. To corner off the area. They even took an interest in protecting my floors while working and cover them. The manager communicated every step of the process to me which is rare. My experience was way above my expectations. Their work was up to standard of my insurance. I will not be using any other company besides them in the future and highly recommend CommonWealth Renovations Winnipeg

We want to full heartedly thank Rashard Petersen from Commonwealth Renovations to have taken on a job we struggled to find any help for a long time and was tricky in its execution.
We had a broken pocket sliding door and he took the time to assess the issue properly with all considerations, provided a reasonable plan with clear communication of basic cost and the advice of additional cost.
While the whole project ended costing around what we had expected, we very absolutely satisfied with the result and felt that the price was worth it. We recommend Commonwealth Renovations and will hire them again in the future.

We just finished a Water damage re-build with CommonWealth renovations and couldn't be happier. From the first quote to the final walkthrough, the communication was excellent. The Owner Rashard and the crew were on time everyday and made sure the house was clean before they left each day. Back in December 2025, our kitchen ceiling sustained water damage due to a leaking sink lead from the bathroom above. We used CommonWealth Renovations, and were very pleased with the result! (before and after pictures included). Rashard was a pleasure to work and to coordinate with. He even came by the home a few days before the holidays once the job had been finished to address any concerns we had.

CommonWealth Renovations did some large projects on our house including fixing water leakage around our windows and upgrades, and maintenance on our decks, steps, and fence. They did an excellent and thorough job on everything. Rashard is very personable, easy to talk with, knowledgeable, and takes great pride in his work. He kept us informed of his progress the whole time and was very honest about issues that came up. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond expectations. I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking to do work on your house or property.

Common Wealth Renovations built me a lovely smaller sized wooden deck off my back entrance, with steps going down to ground level. I was very pleased with their workmanship, and the dealings with Rashard and his staff were always very pleasant and professional. Rashard kept me appropriately informed during the construction process and discussed detailed design considerations with me, which was very helpful. Overall I am very pleased with the final product, and would recommend Common Wealth Renovations.

I highly recommend this business. They completed a small interior renovation project for us.
